The Kingdom Shopping Centre is more than a shopping centre – it truly is the heart of the town centre of Glenrothes. Now established for more than 50 years, Glenrothes has grown and the Kingdom Centre has kept pace with that growth.

Building developments over the years have seen the Kingdom Centre extend to meet the increasing demands of consumers and retailers. The most recent major construction work was the building of Phase 4 of the Centre, including Rothes Halls and the multi-storey car park completed in 1993.

We intend to launch a further series of developments which will increase the size and attractiveness of the Centre even more. We have outline planning permission for an 85,000 sq ft foodstore on land to the north of Falkland Gate. This proposal will involve the demolition of Glenrothes House and the re-location of both the YMCA and CISWO to new purpose-built premises.

We are also in negotiations with a number of parties including a familiar Department Store name to locate in Glenrothes. We will keep you advised of progress!
