The Bee Workshops

Kingdom Shopping Centre in collaboration with Fife based charity ‘Bee Buddies’ are delivering a number of workshops to nurseries and schools throughout the Kingdom.  The workshops are designed to be fun and interactive and to help support schools with their ‘Just Bee Cause’ creative design project.  

We understand the importance of achieving the aims of the ‘Curriculum for Excellence’ and thus the workshops are tailored to suit all ages.  The themes and subjects presented in the workshops will include an introduction to bees, pollination, food source, honey tasting and wax candle making. 

Each workshop will be delivered to 1000 pupils across the town and will be sponsored by the Kingdom Shopping Centre. 

Local schools also got involved in a honeycomb designing competition, which are displayed around Kingdom shopping centre. The public will vote for their favourite on social media.
